These free seasonal gatherings are invitations to honor the turning of the Wheel of the Year and the sacred rhythms of the land. Within this shared circle, participants from across different watersheds come together to listen to the Spirit through guided practice, communal reflection, and direct connection with the wild.

Beltane

Beltane marks the arrival of summer’s threshold, a vibrant fire festival dedicated to the flowering of the earth and the return of the sun’s full strength. In the Celtic wheel, this is the season of "bright fire," where the world moves from the quiet growth of early spring into a time of unbridled vitality and creative power. It is a moment to honor the thinning of the veil and the sacred marriage between the warming soil and the quickening spirit.

You are invited to join this celebratory circle as we lean into the themes of passion, growth, and the freedom to wander. Through guided meditation, music, and shared conversation, we will celebrate the blossoming of our local watersheds and the fire of life within ourselves. The gathering includes an invitation to step outside, allowing the senses to connect directly with the lushness and fragrance of the wild in its most fertile season.

Beth Vanoli is a Deaconess in the United Methodist Church and founder of Wild Church Miami River Valley. Wild Church MRV partners with the Marianist Environmental Education Center on a 100+ acre conservancy in Beavercreek, Ohio. She also serves as a facilitator for a variety of virtual and in-person offerings such as Wednesday Sangha, meditation, book discussion groups, labyrinth walks, retreats, and is a Spiritual Director.
