Wild Churches
RETURNING TO NATURE AS SPIRITUAL PRACTICE
Modern humans have been systemically disconnected from Earth for many generations. Restoring sacred relationship with the ecosystems where we live is inherently counter-cultural. It can feel lonely, as if you're the only one who has felt the presence of the sacred in the trees. Turns out, this is just another one of the old stories. Truth is: there is a whole growing movement of people just like you.
While every Wild Church is a unique, sovereign expression of its own soil, we do not have to wander alone. The Wild Church Network is the underground mycelial infrastructure for this growing movement—a space where leaders, seekers, and edgewalkers can plug into a wider web of shared wisdom and mutual care.
By joining the network, you are helping to weave a resilient ecosystem of spiritual repair that spans across watersheds and cultures.

Plant your Wild Church in the soil of the Network
The Wild Church Network was created to be a place where the particularity of your local gathering meets a global community of practice. The Network exists to provide relationships, resources, and the collective courage needed to bring your vision of a wilder spirituality to life.
Relationship is at the core of the network. Leaders are invited to meet regularly in a digital circle to share ideas and celebrate the radical shifts happening in our local landscapes. As we share challenges, visions, values, and practices, we become increasingly aware that we are part of something larger: an emerging story of kinship initiated by Earth herself.
We don’t just meet outside; we gather to participate in the kindred interconnection of all beings. This is a relationship rooted in love—a sacred conversation with all-that-is.
There are three ways to engage with the network, depending on the level of connection and support you’re seeking right now.

Each wild church contributes to a larger story, shifting from a worldview of dominance into one of relationship and kindred interconnection. Supporting the growth of the Wild Church Network

"Opening ourselves to the sacred wild... changes our sense of who we are. Moving from old story to new... is a gentle surrender to the wisdom of the Earth, of the oak, of our souls. This is wild church."
From Field Guide to Church of the Wild by Victoria Loorz and Valerie Luna Serrels
